The name Dimensions has been synonymous with first class drum & bass since 1996. Running under the name ‚Starbeat',subtitled ‚Jungle attacks house' during the first year, the event was renamed Dimensions. A more open music policy also featuring styles like house and hip hop brought a bigger variety of people into the club. Soon more than 1000 clubbers came to Dimensions on a monthly basis. House was on the main floor in the beginning, but when Bassline Generation played in the Universum Drum & Bass had to move to the main floor! The Label 'Dimensions Records' was founded in 2003.
